The Seniors of
Danbury Senior Center are very proud of their community. They believe in
supporting their local school by offering a local Danbury High School
student a yearly scholarship. They pride themselves in their care and
concern for one another. Danbury Seniors are a very active group,
involving themselves in the many daily activities at the center. Our
daily and monthly activities include such events as our evening dinners,
bingo games, dominos, jigsaw puzzles and other socialization activities
like weekly exercise and mind game activities to keep the mind sharp.
Whether its just sitting and sharing a cup of coffee over some chat room
chat or just dropping in to check out the calendar of events, we welcome

The Danbury Senior Center is located at 8470 East Harbor Road, Marblehead,
Ohio. It is open daily, Monday – Friday, 9am to 1pm. Lunch is served daily
at 11:30am. Lunch reservations are recommended. A donation of $2.50 per
meal is suggested for those 60 years and over. For those under 60 years,
the cost of a meal is $5.00. Lunch reservations should be made the day prior
to the expected lunch. This will help to ensure that you will have meal
available when you come to the center for lunch. Each month a calendar of
events is available at the center for those who wish to come in and pick one
up. The calendar list all the events planned for that month, along with the
monthly meal menu.
Our calendar
includes a variety of regular and new monthly events. Every Monday at 10:30
am, the American Red Cross provides Blood Pressure checks. The first
Wednesday of each month, our 60+ clinic is held and is provided by Heritage
Health Care, Inc. You may schedule a time for the clinic by calling the
Heritage Health Care at 1-800-811-0320. On Mondays and Thursday mornings we
have Dominos at 10 am and Tuesday mornings at 10 am we have Games. Our
Seniors really love to play these games and interact with others. Every
Thursday at 12:00 pm, everyone's favorite game of BINGO is played. Please
stop by and pick up a calendar to see other events and activities provided.
