***In addition, client should be able to feed him/herself without assistance and agree to be home when meals are delivered. An in-home assessment must be completed to determine eligibility. Hot meals are delivered Monday though Friday and frozen meals are offered for delivery once a week. The suggested donation for the meals is $2.50. No eligible person will be denied service because of failure to contribute all or part of the donation. Ottawa County Home Delivered Meals program is offered to seniors through a partnership with the Ottawa County Transportation Agency, INNOVATIONS Food Service, Area Office on Aging of Northwest Ohio, Inc. and the Ottawa County Senior Resources Department. |
