Agencies to bring the
Hilton HHonors Military Program to Ohio. The program provides free
hotel accommodations to military veterans searching for jobs outside the

The Department of Veterans Affairs today published a
regulation that expands eligibility for some benefits for a select
group of Air Force and Air Force Reserve personnel who were exposed to
the herbicide Agent Orange through regular and repeated contact with
contaminated C-123 aircraft that had been used in Vietnam as part of
Operation Ranch Hand. If you believe you may be affected by this

If so, have you applied for the Homestead Exemption for Disabled
Veterans and Surviving Spouses? Applications are now available at
the Ottawa County Veterans Service Office or the Ottawa County Auditors
Office. A copy of the disability rating must accompany the

The FBI is advising current and former members of the military to
review their social media accounts to avoid posts that might attract
attention from the group calling itself the Islamic State(ISIS/ISIL) and
its supporters. The FBI and Homeland Security note that the
Islamic State group already has already publicly encouraged attacks
against law enforcement and military service members. As alway,
take great care in what information you are publishing and consider

National Wreaths Across America Day is Saturday,
December 13, 2014 and we will celebrate and honor this day with five
wreath laying ceremonies to be held simultaneously at 11:00 am.
Ceremonies will be conducted at the following cemeteries: Harrie-Elmore
Union, Elmore Ohio; Clay Township Cemetery, Genoa Ohio; Union Cemetery,
Oak Harbor Ohio; Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton Ohio; and Sackett
Cemetery, Marblehead Ohio.

landings which saw 156,000 troops from the allied countries join forces
and launch an audacious attack on the beaches of Normandy, these
assaults are credited with the eventual defeat of Nazi Germany. We
